Highlight of the 2016 Digital Ball

The culminating event of the series, the Digital Ball, featured the presentation of the annual Technology Innovation Award, given by Accenture—recognizing nonprofits that have ideas for technology projects to significantly impact their mission. The award offers $30,000 in software, services and cash to the winner and two finalists. Click here for further details.

Also at the 2016 Digital Ball (hosted in Atlanta, Georgia) in less than 15 minutes attendees pledged over $36,000, exceeding the campaign goal of $35,000 for the benefit of HOPE Atlanta, a nonprofit that provides a comprehensive approach to address homelessness and provide solutions that promote lifelong stability. The crowdfunding adoption sponsor, EMC/VMware, contributed an additional $20,000—bringing the total to $56,000 in pledges to support HOPE Atlanta’s vision to leverage technology to track individual progress and community outcomes of their programs.
